Fun at Go Go Bambini!

I've been really busy lately so some of these posts are really backdated...

My sister-in-law drove Alicia and I to Go Go Bambini to have fun last Wednesday... of course Alicia's playmate (my niece, Natalie) went along. It was an outing that both kids looked forward to and enjoyed thoroughly. I was so worn out after running around after Alicia at the indoor playground and I have to salute my 61-yr-old mum for being able to do so too!

Here are some photos I managed to take - without being too blur because the kids could hardly stop moving for me to get a proper photo!

Wow! So colourful!

Higher, Grandma!!! :P

Wow... look at the playground grandma!

Wow... I can make music with my feet!

Down we go!

My sil and my cute, super cheerful nephew

I'm luving this place!

Watch me cross this bridge mummy!

Dancing....

Lotsa steps for me to climb!

Wait for me, jie jie!

I love balls... but hate ball pits.
I only came in because jie jie came in...

Tunneling!
Mummy says it hurts her knees soooo much to crawl through with me!
Mummy's growing old!

More tunnels!

Time for a break! Egg-peeling exercise with grandma...

but she hardly ate... was only interested in the peeling... :(

Atlantis City@Delta

I've been wanting to bring Alicia to Atlantis City@Delta for awhile already but due to her schedule, I've been unable to do so. Today I finally managed to and I'm glad I brought her because it made both mummy and toddler happy! :D

She was rather apprehensive at first but warmed up quickly to the place and towards the end of the hour, she was squealing in excitement at the smallest thing and she even did a double turn and started dancing to the song that was playing in the background at one point (unfortunately, I didn't manage to capture this moment in time).

Anyway, here are the photos I took of her at the place:

I can swing myself on this double swing...

... and so can I on this swing!
I love this swing too!

*Posing for a photo* :)
Will this pose do, mummy?

I'm having so much fun mummy!

Back home for lunch with a very hot and sweaty mummy!

*took soooo long to take a shot with her and this is the best I managed!*

Playground and the importance of play!

I make it a point to fit play time into Alicia's schedule so it's not just always about learning this and that at home. A child is, after all, a child. And certainly there's much to be learnt when a young toddler like Alicia gets to play! Read more about why play is important for young children here.

It's not every day that I get to bring Alicia down to play at the playground because of her sleeping and eating pattern and habits. Most of the time it's too hot to let her play at the playground... but today's weather was marvellous: cool and cloudy.

Here's Alicia enjoying every moment of her playtime:

Hmm, what happens if I sit on this...

let's climb over this hurdle!

Tree bark... what's its texture?

hmm... it's rough...

Fiddling here and there!

Should I try the Challenge Ladder?

Or perhaps this?

I think I'll just sit in this rocking 'horse'... "rock, rock!"

What's this flower doing on the floor... let's take a closer look

Tired... let's take a short break before we run off again!

Fidgeting at Fidgets

Fidgets is an indoor playground for children and babies at the Turf City and the first time we went there was for a gathering with other mummies (and daddies) from a forum. Unfortunately, we were too excited and forgot to take pictures of Alicia then. So here are the pictures of her the second time we brought her there. She simply enjoyed herself! :)

Here's the section where they have little cars:

I'm driving! I bet I drive better than mommie...

I kinda like this place!
Here's the section for crawlers and cruisers... :D
Taking a breather halfway...

Climbing to the top is hard work but look at the persistence written all over my face...
I've reached the summit!

It is said that all things that go up must come down... so I'm making my way down now... :D
Walking along the sides is soooo fun!

Look! I've got the whole place to myself!
